  • Inner City Living 2004-2008

Inner City Living was an annual contemporary design exhibition, taking place in unloved, unused and unusual places around Preston City Centre, showcasing the work of fantastic designer makers, artists and manufacturors from around the region. We hosted design symposiums featuring keynotes from the likes of Wayne Hemingway, and developed a range of commission and competition opportunities for makers to work with great local brands such as Graham & Brown, Senator and the Arts Council.

A true collaboration between local designers and the council, this project really lifted the aspiration for Preston as a hub for Creative Industries, and made it possible for local makers to raise the profile of their work to funders, galleries and customers.
